A massive thank you to all of you who joined us at the market last week for your co-operation and understanding in our difficult parking situation. Unfortunately, some cars had blocked a cattle trailer in at the sale cattle yards. Once we were made aware, I was over manning traffic and clearing the area so to free the trailer so that the cattle yard could operate without any interference. We were very lucky to get all cars blocking the trailer moved before the cattle truck actually arrived, which was a relief and there was no imposition to the cattle yards. It has been an absolute god-send being able to use the cattle yards in these difficult weeks where we get a bit too much rain and we are incredibly grateful to the cattle yards – using the cattle yards means that we are able to keep the market at its beautiful location at the Murwillumbah Showground. In the spirit of community, hopefully one day we will be able to re-pay the favour to the cattle yard.
