Roasted Pumpkin Penne + Music by Leigh James

What’s GREAT at the Market this Week?

With pumpkins in abundance and bunches of sage at both The Gourmet Salad Hut and Summit Organics I was inspired this weekend to cook a Roasted Pumpkin Penne with Pecans and Crispy Sage. So check out our Recipes page for the full recipe.

And I hope the photo above tempts you  too.  It is the first time I have fried whole sage leaves and they are so tasty. I will be picking up a bunch of sage weekly from now on until it is no longer available. YUMMO!

Most of the farm stalls have Jap pumpkins too so lots available for you to enjoy.

If you love a roasted pumpkin salad check out our Recipes page for our roasted pumpkin salad with honey and balsamic dressing.

Also great this week is singer songwriter Leigh James – we always get so lost in his beautiful music. Come and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere he creates.  For a preview check out this extract from his 2014 show at Twin Towns. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVxfYUwCkbs
