Raspberries AND Organic Seedlings + New Season Organic Citrus

What’s NEW This Week?

Fresh raspberries are arriving at the market this week. Adam from Tallogum Raspberries is bringing their deliciously sweet raspberries – sometimes called a mouthful of joy! Grown by Paul and Natalie Lloyd at Lindendale they will be sold by the punnet. Once tasted you will be back for more. Fruiting on long canes that can be very prickly they are time consuming to pick so we are thrilled to be able introduce this popular fresh fruit to you.

Also at the Tallogum Raspberries Stall will be their own grown frozen raspberries and frozen blueberries (only until Blueberry Fields returns with their new season FRESH blueberries in a couple of months).

Autumn is the perfect time for planting so many vegies as the weather is gentler on leafy greens and perfect for sowing peas, radish, beetroot, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage and so much more. So it is timely that we introduce you to Kieran Weston of One Organic commencing at the market this week. Kieran specialises in certified organic herb, vegie and medicinal flower seedlings that are grown from open pollinated non hybrid non treated seeds.

If you are not sure what to plant in your vegie patch Kieran recommends visiting this website: http://www.gardenate.com/zones/Australia%2B-%2BtemperateI checked it out and it gives a very comprehensive list by climate so we can all know exactly what to plant directly or as seedlings for advice for May and June.
