New season Apricots + Artisans

What’s NEW at the Market this Week

We know Christmas is just around the corner when stone fruit arrives at the market. And this week we are very excited that the first APRICOTS 👏😋🌈 grown at the Costanzo family farm arrive at the market. They have a very short season so enjoy them while you can.

The Herbal Gardener

Beginning in 2006, Lise Racine, the founder and creator of this very popular skin care range sought to formulate natural skincare for her four daughters. Combining organic cultivation and medicinal herbs she created a natural skin care range at her farm in the hinterland of Tallebudgera. Here Lise grows her calendular crop that is harvested at the perfect time for her to extract its vibrant rich oil. She infuses this into certified Australian organic olive oil and then incorporates it into all of her products. Calendula is a specialist of the skin, working in harmony with you to repair and renew the skin. It is renowned for its anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

Caribbean Sorbet joins us for the first time tomorrow. Léa and Matéo are a young couple from Reunion Island in the Caribbean. They will be making their sorbet on the spot – right in front of you – using a traditional sorbet making machine. Matéo has 5 years experience at markets in Reunion Island making sorbet on the spot every day/night. Their two main sorbets are coconut sorbet and mango sorbet. And as seasonal fruit arrives they will also make other exotic flavours such as soursop, passion fruit, guava and more. Their coconut sorbet is served with a sprinkling of lime zest making it extra refreshing. It will be a perfect day to enjoy a sorbet.😋
