Egg-citing news over at Woodland Valley Farm

In very egg-citing news, you may have heard that over at Woodland Valley Farm one of the girls has laid a rare round eggthis was in fact a one in a million find. Jodie and Fabian tell us that one school of thought is that eggs are usually their oval shaped to prevent them rolling out of the nest – shape of the egg slows the egg down. Unfortunately, this very rare find will not be appearing in any of your egg cartons any time soon – it will just be the usual oval egg for now! Woodland Valley Farm will also be back at the market this week with their usual selection of eggs, fresh and dried pasta, sauces, custards and meals, so do pop by to see Jodie and stock up.
