Sylva at Sylva Lining Organics has also let me know that their barley juice shots are back at the market this week. Sylva tells me that it has been incredibly difficult this year to grow the barley with all of the humidity earlier on but it is finally happening and production is on! Sylva also tells me that barley has so many nutritional and health benefits including that it is full of anti-oxidants, vitamin C, calcium (more than in cow’s milk) and iron – so it’s great for our immunity as we are in the middle of our winter, it is great for our bone health and blood.
