Vietnamese Breakfasts

What’s GREAT at the Market this Week?

Deliciously crisp freshly picked new season cucumbers plus coriander combined with pickled carrot and Asian dressings add delicious flavours to a new brekky stall commencing this week.

Laura Coppin and her partner Mal are setting up their Vietnamese Lotus Food Van (next to 11th Hour Coffee) and will be kept busy making Vietnamese Breakfasts that include:

☘ Banh mi rolls with optional fillings including lemongrass pork or marinated tofu or egg and bacon allserved with pickled carrot, cucumber and Asian herbs and dressings.
☘ Hot vegetable spring rolls made on site and/or rice paper rolls with chicken and salad. Both have delicious dipping sauces.

This expands our range of breakfast options giving lots of choice for all our shoppers who like to linger and enjoy the ambience of the market with frie

nds and family. It is a great service too for those who want to order their food while they shop and dash off with brekky or lunch on the run.

If you feel inspired after trying a banh mi this week SBS provides a recipe at http://www.sbs.com.au/food/recipes/banh-mi-thit
