Roasted Broccoli Florets


  • Broccoi head broken up  into approximately even sized florets
  • Chemoula spice
  • Coconut oil or olive oil
  • Lemon juice and zest
  • Garlic
  • Salt and pepper
  • Parmesan

Method:Simply sprinkle florets of broccoli with the a good salt and your favourite pepper. Sometimes I like to sprinkle it with Chemoula – a lovely spice bend from Spice Palace. Toss liberally in coconut oil and crushed garlic.

Roast for 20 to 25 minutes – just until the tips of some of the florets are browned, crisp-tender and. Remove the broccoli from the oven and immediately toss with 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil, the juice and zest of a lemon. You can also sprinkle it with Parmesan. And grill for a minute of two for an extra boost.
