Green banana chips (Tostones)
Take a green banana and slice into ¾ slices. Fry these in a hot oil (coconut or macadamia) to a light golden colour but still slightly soft and then drain. When cool slice into thinner slices or rounds and fry again for about 3 minutes or until golden and crisp. Drain and cool then lightly salt and serve as dipping chips with a savoury dip.
