Olive oil and olives and traditional owners story telling

What’s GREAT This Week?
Spring is in the air so this week we are shining the spotlight on OLIVE OIL and OLIVES. Why! Because they have been missing for a couple of weeks but are BACK. And how could we dress a spring salad without the BEST olive oil?? If you haven’t yet discovered his locally grown and produced olive oil – this is IT  Grumpy Grandmas extra virgin olive oil is simply the whole olive crushed and the fruit sediment is separated from the water and oil. The grower contracts this process to experts in the industry with the facilities to maximise oil production. The oil is simply fruit juice full of anti-oxidants! So very delicious! Pick up a bottle this week at Spice Palace.

Not only can you find the most amazingly fresh and varied spice mixes at Spice Palace but also

the most appetising dips, dukkahs, tapenades, satays and both green and red harissa. One of my spring favourites is their beetroot, almond and mint dip. Yummo!

Rob is looking after Tweed River Pecans and macadamia oil for Ian McRae while he is away so you can really stock up at Spice Palace this week.
