- Emubeads
- Montana’s Crystals
- Brony’s Studio
- Mens’ Shed
- CWA
- Ahana Candles
One of the artisan pop ups joining us this week is UKI Ginger. Many of you already know Mal and Laura from the Vietnamese Lotus food truck. Mal and Laura as many already know have started their new venture, UKI Ginger Co. They have been growing ginger for about 5 years now. Laura tells me that they have a delicious product range, which includes; marmalade, chutney, pickled ginger, cordial, kombucha, and last but by no means least ginger and macadamia rocky road. These all sound scrumptious! Mal and Laura have been telling me that recently they were awarded 4 medals at the Sydney Royal Show – a gold for their ginger beer cordial and their seasonal pickled ginger, silver for the marmalade and bronze for the banana and ginger coconut chutney. A massive congratulations for all of their hard work in bringing these delicious ginger products to us. Do pop by to see Mal and Laura this week as they will be here for only a short period of time – they will also have beautiful looking gift boxes available all including one of each of their award winning produce. Welcome back UKI Ginger – you will find Mal and Laura in the gravel area next door but one to Costanzo Apples.
Marianni from AHANA Candles will also be back popping up at the market on the lead up to the festive season. AHANA is a mother/daughter co-creation which was born from a shared love of beeswax and flame. Marianni tells me that the word ‘AHANA’ means ‘Inner Light’ and reflects the simple yet ancient ritual of lighting a candle. All of AHANA’s candles are hand poured in the Northern Rivers from beeswax, which when burned in its purest form aids in cleansing the air, offers a calming warm glow and burns for longer. In making their candles, Marianni and Valentina are very conscious about preserving the earth and so all of their candles are made with locally sourced pure beeswax and are packaged with care. Marianni will be located under the shed so do stop by and see what she has on offer.
