Bring the kids to the Farmers’ Market these holidays

Bring the kids to the Farmers’ Market these holidays. On Wednesday 17, young ones can enjoy nature inspired face painting and/or participate in a game of ‘What’s That Food?”- a fun game to tempt young taste buds and learn about our local farm food. If you’re bringing the kids, why not come for brunch or morning tea? Try a tasty samosa or gourmet pie, a freshly baked cake or savoury tart or an exotic flavoured frappe or child friendly immune boosting smoothie. The market abounds with flavours, textures and ready to eat wholesome foods.

Thank you!!
On behalf of the Caldera Farmers Market, a big thank you to Charlie and Peter from Mavis’s Kitchen for supporting our producers and donating a $100 dinner voucher for a stallholder’s prize earlier this month. I would also like to thank the team from Tweed Valley Weekly for their ongoing enthusiasm and support for the market and our local producers.

What people are saying
A couple of weeks ago we introduced a suggestion box. The market committee will review feedback weekly and will action suggestions and ideas that fit with the objectives of the market. We would like to hear more from our customers, what you like about the market and where you think it could improve. You can drop a note in the suggestion box at the market entrance, email info@calderafarmersmarket.com.au or call me on 0498 733 766.

If you want regular updates, LIKE us on Facebook. Look forward to seeing you at the market next Wednesday from 7am until 11am (rain or shine) at Murwillumbah Showgrounds via the Harry Williams Gate.
