Now that we are well into the winter season, this is the optimal time of year for all of our fresh, local and seasonal winter veggies to be in their prime. Will at Everest Farm Bananas was telling me that their veggies are looking so good at the moment – and that is because the weather is perfect for growing. While there is a lot in abundance at the moment Will has asked me to let you all know that peas are in season right now – so make the most of it! While over at Johny’s Garden sugar loaf cabbages are back on and if you head on over to the shed to Wollumbin Gourmet Mushrooms you will find Gary has lots of lovely mushrooms this week. There is so much to choose from at this abundant time of year!
