New Season Royal gala Apples + Grapes + Cooking Demo

What’s NEW This Week?

New season Royal Gala apples arrive this week. Follow the aroma of these apples – there is nothing quite like the flavour of new season apples straight from the orchard in Stanthorpe – the place so well known for producing the best Royal Gala apples in Australia.

Characterised by a blush of pink on its skin this dense, sweet, juicy apple is the perfect lunch box fruit. Simply delicious!

Andy will also have black muscat grapes. Regular shoppers know that this black muscat grape has a short but sweet season so enjoy it while we can. It is a popular medium sized dark grape with a very sweet flavour.

The Chai Harem has a new range of Iced Chais to cool and refresh you on these hot summer days. They include iced Chocolate Chai, iced Coffee chai and iced Chai teas – all oozing with flavour and coolness.

Mushrooms: Garry Miller from Wollumbin Gourmet Mushrooms only has a very few mushrooms this week – just a few pink oysters. He said that this hot weather is playing havoc – it is too high to trigger the fruiting.

Cooking Demo: at 9.30am this Wednesday with the innovative chef Louise Miller. Louise’s cuisine features fresh wholesome nourishing food. Louise says “Food is my tool to love and connect with others, that’s why I love it so”.
