New stallholder this week ….

Local Fusion Foods will be at the market for the first time. Lynne and John O’Hehir – both horticulturalists and landscape designers have grown their own food for more than 23 years. They are passionate about locally grown produce and about creating innovative food products.

Their stall will be offering tortilla rolls made using your choice from their range of flatbreads filled with haloumi and organic quinoa salad served with a special spicy Moroccan tomato sauce and cucumber and mint tzatziki.

They will also have samples of foods to come including their kale chips and activated nuts. In a few weeks they will add fermented foods to their selection. These are made using their own home grown vegies. Cultures from around the world have been fermenting foods for years and a number of recent studies show the link between eating foods high in probiotics and good health.
