What’s GREAT This Week?
SWEET CORN is now PLENTIFUL with so many of our growers bringing sweet juicy cobs to the market. Versatile is the best way to describe this vegie that is tasty raw, barbecued and steamed – take your pick. Also great in salsa and while we have an abundance of tomatoes, coriander and some limes you can stock up on your salsa ingredients this week. See the corn and tomato salsa recipe below.
Don’t forget that we have our new season apples and pears so visit Andy this week and enjoy the full flavour of freshly picked fruit straight from the farm to you.
Missing from the market this week:
- Brunswick Seed Oysters will be absent until their water quality testing confirms that their oysters are safe following the extensive rain – hopefully next week.
- Nudgel Nuts as Ian is back NEXT week.
Community Support: Tweed Palliative Support is back this week with a selection of delicious chocolates and raffle tickets to so get behind this great organisation that supports our local families at a time when they need lots of help.
