Blueberry Fields + More Artisans

What’s GREAT at the Market this Week?

We have all our beautiful fresh produce as usual this week with just a tiny chance that we might have cherries again if the family has successfully beaten the bats to the ripening fruit. AND Blueberry Fields is back with their super sweet BLUEBERRIES.

What’s NEW this Week?

Christmas Pop Up Artisan Stalls continue with more stalls joining us this week. We have our regular week on pop up – The Native Collection/Bloom Edible Flowers with their amazing syrups – the perfect base to a thirst quenching Christmas cocktail – a quondong fizz maybe or a pepper berry booster?? They also bring beautiful dried and fresh edible flowers – perfect for decorating Christmas goodies. And a whole delicious selection or pastes and confits to tantalise your taste buds.

We are thrilled to have the following artisans this week.

  • Emu Beads will definitely be at the market Michele has assured me.
  • Renee Jeffrey’s Whimsical Ceramics
  • Cheryl Watson’s Gravity Accessories and
  • Chris Degenhart’s Colours and Words

PLUS

  • The CWA with their traditional Christmas goodies, and
  • Murwillumbah Mens’ Shed bringing their camphor laurel boards and platters plus some funky spoons and more.

STALL HOLDER CHANGES:

BACK this week:

  • Blueberry Fields

 Entertainment: Salt and Steel

Weather: Partly cloudy with a chance of a shower or two just to keep us cool! This could be pleasant especially as the temperature creeps towards the mid to high 2

Don’t forget our date change during the Christmas week  – open MONDAY 24th; closed Wednesday 26th.

A Message From Tweed River Pecans: Thank you to all our customers who love fresh, local pecans! Sadly Tweed River Pecans have sold all our stock from the 2018 harvest. The young nuts are forming as you can see in the photo and the crop is looking very bountiful at this early stage.  We look forward to returning to the market in April 2019 with delicious newly harvested nuts for you!  From the ‘McNutties”

BUT never fear as Barefoot Farm are also pecan growers and so they are filling the void with their fresh pecans as well as all their value added pecans. They are found directly opposite Flat Earth Kombucha (near the ATM).

REMEMBER* ATM at the market!
We have an ATM onsite for your shopping convenience.
