Spring seedlings for your vegie patch and market t-shirts

What’s GREAT This Week?

Is your vegie patch about to SPRING into life after the rain last week? Now is the perfect time to plant your warm weather seedlings from One Organics. They have a range of organic and heirloom seedlings that are grown from open pollinated non hybrid non treated seeds. They also supply the products to boost the micoorganisms in your soil resulting in strong healthy productive plants. Some great warmer weather seedling varieties are basil, bush beans, beetroot, capsicum, chillies, cucumbers, eggplant, lettuce, okra, silverbeet, tomatoes and zucchini. And don’t forget to include some flowers to attract beneficial insects and bees.

A tip from Kieran: It is important to rotate mulch as it breaks down in your soil. Varying your mulch to include variety such as lucerne and Rhodes grass to sugar cane delivers different nutrients to your soil.

Lisianthus are in full bloom now so pick up a bunch of these treasured flowers this week at Jumping Red Ant.

Market t-shirts – this week we have market t-shirts available. These are either organic cotton for menor organic bamboo for women. They are in a range of sizes and on a grey or black background. In the future we will have more on white but this time only a very few are on the white background. We hope you enjoy these.
