Kiwi Fruit – beautiful certified organic Kiwi fruit are now available from the Beagle and the Bagel stall. Not only are they delicious but they are high in vitamin C, with 100g of kiwifruit having one and half times as much vitamin C as the same quantity of orange. They are also a good source of vitamin EKiwis on vine - distanceKiwi fruit picked ready for the marketLemons are available at Jumping Red Ant Stall and bush lemons at Narbey’s Best Avocados.  John said that his grapefruit are coming soon – maybe as early as next week. We are working on finding an alternative supply of citrus for the market this year.

Cabbages, cabbages and more cabbages! Cecil Farm has lots of cabbages including crisp sweet sugar loaf cabbages available now – the perfect winter vegie so stock up this week.

Murwillumbah Community Men’s Shed: Last week for camphor breadboards. They have been so popular that they have run out of seasoned timber and are working on producing a new supply by September. So stock up on these wonderful gifts this week.Men's Shed Bread Boards (4)

Stacey who brought her daughters along posted on Facebook after the visit that ..With the amount of effort and time that goes into such quality produce, I’m never complaining about the cost of fresh fruit and veggies again! So worth every cent! Thanks Stacey it is great to have your knowledge and understanding conveyed through your feedback.

Inspiring Wholefoods Chef and writer Jean Martinez of Artisan Wholefoods will motivate us all with her cooking demo and wise words. Come along and see her nourishing and delicious gluten free white winter minestrone soup demo next week. The soup will be available for tastings after the demo. Jean will also share some tips for deep nutrition in winter months.

Over the next few Saturdays Jean is holding a range of classes in the beautiful Burringbar Hall so while she is at the market shopping or giving her demo have a chat to her about her many classes on offer.
