It’s mango season! Hooray!

In very exciting news, Will at Everest Farm Bananas tells me that the mango season has finally returned. Mangoes are full of nutrients including, vitamins A, C and K, potassium, beta-carotene, folate, choline and magnesium – meaning that adding mangoes to your diet helps your immune system, your digestive system and general well-being. There is also a lot you can do with a mango – they can be eaten as fresh fruit, as part of a fruit salad, smoothies, juices, desserts, salads and much more.  

In more exciting news, Doug and Blanche from Burringbar Avocados are back at the market this week after their short seasonal break. Doug and Blanche will be bringing with them new season mangoes and also passionfruit. Please join me in welcoming Doug and Blanche back. You will find Doug and Blanche in their usual spot under the shed.
