πŸ“Monty’s Strawberries this WEEK πŸ“πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

What’s NEW at the Market this Week?

πŸ“Best STRAWBERRIES EVER! So people have told us. We are thrilled to welcome Kerry, Lorraine and Sarah Montgomery of Monty’s Strawberries to the market THIS WednesdayπŸ˜‹Β And they will be with us throughout the strawberry season – so quite possibly 5 months.

πŸ“πŸ“These locally grown strawberries have been popular in the Tweed area for many years – in fact so popular that three generations of the Montgomery family are now growing them to keep the locals well supplies. Kerry and Lorraine Montgomery began their business more than 26 years ago setting up a hydroponic system that has proven very successful. This legacy has been continued with granddaughter Sarah now having her patch at their Old Lismore Road farm base and son David at his farm at Dulguigan.

With three generations growing strawberries hydroponically at three locations we can be assured that there will be plenty of strawberries for the market each week.

πŸ“πŸ“Not only will they have fresh strawberries but also their very popular fruit flats, ice blocks and ice creams all based around the fruit grown on their farms. Their chocolate coated strawberries on a stick are made from their fresh strawberries although sometimes frozen berries are used. These are dipped into a bucket of liquid chocolate and frozen ready to be devoured by their many fans – young and old!! And they bring more melted chocolate so those who want to can dip their strawberries again🀣.
