Coming this week – two new stalls:

1. Yogi Nectar

This week we welcome Edna Dafna Kaneya who with her partner produce Yogi Nectar Products. These are 100% locally grown and produced. Yogi Nectar is a live probiotic – it is a nutritious living refreshment, packed full of friendly microorganisms.  10455646_723637347697066_8579839879850890564_nCreated with great care using a live, organic, natural probiotic descended from a mother culture dating back thousands of years to the highlands of Ancient Tibet – this nectar has wonderful healing qualities.

Edna said that maintaining a favourable balance of digestive bacteria allows the body greater access to nutrients from food, and provides a more stable environment for the body’s immune system – most of which exists in the stomach and throughout the digestive system.

She said that “unfortunately, many dietary and environmental factors associated with a modern lifestyle serve to adversely affect this critical balance of bacteria within us.  Yogi Nectar is rich in multiple live strains of friendly lactobacillus species, providing a rapid response to nourish, protect, support and energize their new host”.

This probiotic Yogi Nectar drink is designed to give your natural systems a welcome daily boost! Edna said that ‘aside from lab results showing the healing qualities of Yogi Nectar, we have testimonials from members of our local community whose lives have been transformed using our products’.

So visit Edna’s stall this week and have a chat about this fascinating product.

2. Healing Foods Café

Healing Foods Café offers wholesome food. Tamar’s dishes are based on traditional cooking techniques such as fermenting and sprouting grains and pulses and soaking and activating nuts and seeds: nourishing traditions that are rapidly regaining in popularity for their ability to achieve maximum nutritional value.

Details about Tamar’s range of products was in last weeks update. The soup and other winter fare that she will have on her menu this week includes:

  • Shakshuka, a traditional breakfast dish of eggs cooked in a spiced tomato and herb sauce (see photo), served with bread.photo2
  • Herb omelet wrap, served with home made organic Alban cheese (yoghurt cheese) and Israeli salad
