Lychees + pop ups + tasting plates

What’s GREAT this week?

Lychees – that deliciously decadent fruit that we associate with Christmas are back this week. . Jumping Red Ant are picking their first lychees so be early as supplies are often limited this early in the season. A great addition to your Christmas platters.

Two exciting activities are happening this week to make your Christmas gift giving extra easy:

1. Our two Christmas pop up stalls are back this week only – Lise Racine The Herbal Gardener with her wonderful skin care products made using organic herbs from her Tallebudgera Farm and Homestead and Co with their bees wax wraps. Encourage your friends and family to ditch their plastic and give them the gift that keeps on giving (for at least a year or more).

The Murwillumbah Men’s Shed with their fabulous camphor laurel boards are with us every week this month. Imagine a bread board plus a packet of chocolate macadamia nuts+ artisan muesli pack from Belles Kitchen + a jar of a Harissa and a bottle of lemon myrtle or woodsmoked or garlic infused olive oil from Spice Palace and a packet of bees wax wraps in a colourful NEW MARKET  BAG! What a great gift!

The CWA stall has lots of traditional Christmas goodies to save you the time and effort and sweets for delicious gifts.

Belles Kitchen is in the Christmas spirit too. Belinda has prepared an Entertainer Pack containing  one pack each of the RU Crackers flavours: Spicy, Rosemary & Olive, Cheese & Onion and Totally Seedy PLUS one jar each of of Nana’s Tomato Relish and Tomato Chilli Jam and one serve of Tamari Roasted Almonds & Pepitas. Now that sounds like a great gift!

2. Tasting Plates – during the morning tasting plates showcasing our market produce will be taken around the market for you to sample so I hope that you try something new this week.

Also don’t miss out on the CWA stall with lots of Christmas goodies and also Belles Kitchen Christmas special – The Entertainers pack to make your Christmas shopping extra easy this year.
