What’s NEW at the Market this Week?
Pizzas! Jon at Crabbes Creek Woodfired is excited to bring a market favourite for the last week of the school holidays. Gather your family and friends for another great market with fresh spring fruit and vegies, new food stalls and kids activities.
Such diversity of fresh produce is perfect for a spring salad. I made a cucumber, fennel, apple and sumac salad yesterday – adapted from a recipe in Saturday’s Sydney Morning Herald but I used pecans from Tweed River Pecans instead of almonds. Sumac is from Spice Palace and the lebanese cucumber, fennel, mint and eschallots are all available from a number of farm stalls. The recipe is below.
