Tomatoes offer a treasure trove of nutritional benefits as well as being such a versatile fruit to include in your daily diet. Known mostly for their antioxidants and lycopene, enjoying tomatoes is a priority and how better than buying tomatoes with real old fashioned tomato flavour. Farm fresh tomatoes directly from the farmer have a taste long forgotten in tomatoes that travel miles and are stored. So this week stock up on tomatoes. They are wonderful for making tomato salsa, salads and bruschetta along with so many other recipes.

Jumping Red Ant has Roma, Gourmet Round Cherry and Mini Roma tomatoes also.

 

Cooling drinks:

With the much warmer weather having arrived don’t forget that we have stalls with refreshing cool drinks. Local Fusion Food has a lemon, mint and honey cooler. Bagels has lemon myrtle and organic  apple juice.j7ZFS

Stallholder Update:

We extend a warm welcome to Jodie and Mike from Hayters Hill Grill who commence with a menu that includes a whole lot of rolls including pulled pork, egg and bacon, burger and egg, bratwurst sausage on a hot dog roll and more. Coming from a chef and events background Jodie and Mike bring a great combination of experience to the market. Please support our newest stallholder.

Crabbes Creek Woodfired – we say goodbye and thanks to Jon for his popular woodfired pizzas. We wish Jon a very successful build – and look forward to his return in the future.
