Tomatoes offer a treasure trove of nutritional benefits as well as being such a versatile fruit to include in your daily diet. Known mostly for their antioxidants and lycopene, enjoying tomatoes is a priority and how better than buying tomatoes with real old fashioned tomato flavour. Farm fresh tomatoes directly from the farmer have a taste long forgotten in tomatoes that travel miles and are stored. So this week stock up on tomatoes. They are wonderful for making tomato salsa, salads and bruschetta along with so many other recipes.
