Nestled on the banks of the Oxley River at Eungella 10 kilometres west of Murwillumbah Sylva Lining organics was certified organic in 2004.
Sylva and Ian have followed their passion for nourishing chemical free produce after successful careers elsewhere and wanted to provide highly nutritional, clean organic food for their family. This has expanded to provide the same high quality certified organic produce to local residents in the Tweed. Their vegetables are all grown outdoors in the purist traditions of natural farming based on biological farming principles.
Designing diversity into their soil feeding program by producing more than 50 tons of alive and dynamic compost per year from local raw materials elevates soil health to grow the best possible quality fruit and vegetables. These include their specialty – Russian and Spanish garlic seasonally available from October, as well as snowpeas from June to November and their wonderful certified organic free range eggs. Other fruit and vegetable crops include baby English spinach, Waltham broccoli, broccolini, beetroot, cauliflower, kale, red cabbage, tomatoes, Lebanese cucumbers, eggplant, zucchinis, lady finger bananas, oranges, lemons, mandarins and lime.
