This week at the market:

More apricots and cherries ! Michelle Costanzo said that there are still two more varieties of cherries ripening between now and Christmas so there should be more on the way over the next couple of weeks. Apricots will continue for a few more weeks and then after Christmas plums will be ripe and ready.

These stone fruit cannot be successfully grown in the Tweed so they are one of the very few fruits that farmers at the very limits of our permissible radius bring to the market to give you that highly desired variety.

The CWA joins the market for their annual December stall leading up to Xmas.

Entertainment – Tamara Cox is back with her new amplifier, which has made a huge difference. As one shopper said last month -– she has the voice of an angel. ENJOY.

Christmas celebration ideas – now and on Christmas Day …

Why not include a cheese platter with this suggestion from Nimbin Valley Dairy: a wedge of blue cow + white cow + monte nardi.  Add some sweet goat and a saint billie. These look great and offer a wonderful taste sensation especially if you add in some salami from NVD or great tasting apple, fig and pecan paste, relishes and other condiments  from Crumbs and Stuff and always some fruit.
