Be inspired! For both kale lovers and kale haters.👩🏼‍🌾

Hello again

I hope you had a lovely weekend – beautiful weather and lots to do in our bubble if you are restricted because you have to tick the box before getting your pass to cross the border. Our four local Mud Trail studios were fabulous and once again highlighted the incredible art community that we love to support and celebrate just as we love to support our farmers. It was a pity that we couldn’t visit the other 16 studios but there is always next year. At least we can visit our one farm offering a tour this year. See details below.

I couldn't resist sharing this photo I took on the Mud Trail of one of the many sculptures by Marie-France.

What’s News at the Market this Week?

Cathryn from Platypus Point Stall is busy today making and bottling strawberry jam especially for you – it will be available at this week’s market.

Monty’s Strawberries never sell their imperfect strawberries at the markets as they are very selective so Cathryn is putting these to good use in jam for you to enjoy on your morning toast of afternoon devonshire tea.
While Sarah Montgomery who is the face of Monty’s at our market doesn’t waste her hard work growing strawberries either using the imperfect fruit to make fruit flats and ice blocks – both being huge favourites with children.

Summit Organics has just a few places remaining on their farm walk next Saturday 22nd so if you love to visit our local makes or growers this is a wonderful opportunity. Tania and Rod and they have reduced their fee to just $15 so see me or Tania this Wednesday to reserve your spot or email me now.
