I hope you all found a way to enjoy your Easter with a difference this year. These unusual times gives us an opportunity to be especially creative in how we reach out and connect with others and it is on our devices🤨. I have noticed more people posting photos showing their beautiful environment. Remaining at home certainly makes us appreciate the beauty of the Northern Rivers and prompts us to reflect on how fortunate we are to live where we live and with an abundance of fresh food available to us throughout the year.
We sincerely thank you for your patience and flexibility with our new and ever evolving procedures. Each Wednesday sees changes/additions to our procedures to keep you and our stallholders safe and we trust in your understanding and support. This week we need to be more vigilant about our food and beverages. Takeaway food must be consumed off the premises – so please grab and go.
We send all our very best healing wishes to Ian McRae. Unfortunately Nudgel Nuts will not be with us for a couple of weeks at least. Ian had a nasty exchange with his ram late last Wednesday and he is now recovering in hospital after surgery to repair his broken hip. Damn that pesky ram!!
Delicious autumn produce One look at the vivid colours of produce found at our farmers’ market and you can tell just how nutritious the fruits and vegetables are. And especially how fresh. What you see is seasonally available produce that is picked often only 24-48 hours before the market.
