Green beans + New Almond milk stall + grapes

What’s NEW the market this week?

Our Pop Up this week is Bangalow Road stallholders Naomi and Joel – with their delicious raw, activated and cold pressed, insecticide free Almond Milk. Naomi said that it is natural & pure with  no gums, thickeners or preservatives. Handmade with love!

This Carool couple produce their products in a commercial kitchen in Byron Bay and supply it throughout the northern rivers so we are privileged to have them bring it to our market. This week you can ENJOY their ice cold chai latte almond milk or cold brewed coffee – both perfectly thirst quenching and nourishing on these hot summer days. Bangalow Road will come fortnightly (next at the market on 24th) and can be found under the camphor laurel trees in the spot that is shared on alternate weeks with Belles Kitchen (next at the market on 17th).

GRAPES – yes Costanzo have grapes again this week and their deep red plums. Both have a very short season so enjoy them while you can.

What’s GREAT at the Market this Week?

Deliciously crunchy green BEANS! Jumping Red Ant has been picking up to 100 kgs per day – that means long 8 hour days of back breaking picking as they have such an abundant crop right now. So this week LET’S all celebrate locally grown green beans and THANK our farmers.

Enjoyable in so many different ways I simply adore green beans lightly steamed served with a generous dash of toasted black sesame oil. Simply delicious hot or cold!
