What’s GREAT at the Market this Week?

There is nothing like the taste of locally grown capsicum and right now they are bursting with flavour! Delicious in salads and delightful roasted or charred, stuffed or stir

fried there are so much ways to enjoy this sweet yet savoury vegetable! How about a marinated roasted bruschetta or a spicy roasted capsicum hummus?

Strips of capsicum add colour and flavour to stir fried beans, cauliflower, cabbage and broccoli.

Strawberries have arrived – Hayden and Steve from Rainbow Fruit Flats have been busy nurturing these fussy little berries to their present deliciousness so try some this week.

BACK during August: Barefoot Farm has returned with their addictive choc coated pecans, Texan and Maple Syrup roasted packets too as well as their delicious gluten free pecan pie and so much more. and

bloom Edible Flowers and The Native Collection is now a monthly pop up stall in the first week of each month.

  • Nourished Live Foods has had a change of plans – Jess and Jan will be back on 15th August.
  • bloom Edible Flowers and The Native Collection are now a pop up stall so will attend the market the first week of every month.

Blueberry Fields will be back later this month. Otto’s latest update is that they still are short on supplies and have very few buckets and as most of us love their buckets we can wait a little longer and build our anticipation.
